It's usually sometime just after Wyoming sunset and just before California sunset, and when I received it, I was using the radio in my Subaru (it may not have the greatest sound quality, but it's impressively sensitive) right around 8 PM.
I haven't tried to see if I can receive it on any of my portable radios.

Tuning past Radio Marti on 6030khz at 0301UTC May 24th, I heard something only a true radio nerd would appreciate... news chime time. You know, like the old NBC chimes... but this time it was to the tune of "VOA"
Yesterday, I think about 7:30pm in Carmichael I tuned to 1170 on I heard briefly KYET til it switched to 1 Watt

Hi, new account here but I'm sure I've posted here before. I signed up again because I had some really cool FM DXing this afternoon about 2 pm local time. Probably atmospheric ducting. Listening from Sherman, TX, I heard WWDE in Norfolk, VA on 101.3 FM. At a distance of about 1150 miles!
The WWDE call letters came up on my DAB radio display, so the signal was quite strong. I logged into their website and confirmed the song "Now Playing" was what I was hearing: Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie. The DX lasted less than 10 minutes.
The signal overpowered the local oldies station I was listening to, 101.3 KJIM which broadcasts only 10 miles from my location. But KJIM is only a 250 watt Class D translator station, so it wouldn't be hard to get overpowered by decent DX, as I saw today!
