According to Scott Fybush, he can hear CFCO 630 from near Rochester, NY, all the way to central Indiana, the only station that does so. CFOS 560 can be heard Days in Western New York and in Northern Michigan.

WTMJ 620 IBOC sidebands limit CFCO 630 in Western and Northern Michigan.
Here's a question someone with your level of knowledge might be able to answer....

CFCO's towers appear to be really tall. Exactly how tall is tough to gauge from the 401 Freeway, which is at least a mile away (to the south). To what extent would that help them to get out? Obviously the wide open spaces and good ground conductivity surrounding the site helps matters in and of themselves. Even when CFCO was only at 1kw night, I was impressed with their groundwave signal.

CFCO is on 630 khz, right? That's 476 meters, and most of their towers set between 100-112 meters, which is about 1/4th the wavelength. Also, there is a lot of lakes nearby.

Based on Class B treaty minimum efficiencies, CFCO major lobes at 270 degrees and 350 degrees are the equivalent of about 38 kW.

The next biggest CFCO 630 lobe is the equivalent of 23 kW at 65 degrees.

Quick check of the Bonaire SDR last night around 11pm CDT found a few US stations present. Most interesting was WBAP on top of 820 with presumed Colombian way down in the mix. I'm normally not on this SDR this late, but usually the Colombian dominates and I've never heard WBAP clearly before on this SDR.

The Arctic SDR has a static problem the few times I've checked recently. Still good reception though. Right now (3pm CDT) listening to the Korean on 972 armchair level. Trying 1611 for the Filipino, there's more than one station there but nothing strong enough to identify. Something weak on 1638, only Australians listed there, with a slight het against another weak one on 1639.8. Nothing listed there, Faroe Islands is listed on 1641.

Thanks for the update. I'll try checking it out.

Sitting on Methow Valley tonight (Kittitas STILL down). Pretty good conditions...

1340 KPRK Livingston MT / 1450 KMMS Bozeman MT // same weather forecast, Fox News
1280 KZNS Salt Lake City UT Utah State football 670 watts and get this - NO KIT!
1230 KORT Grangeville ID w/ 'Car Wash' Rose Royce // stream
1240 KOFE St. Maries ID w/ Lumberjacks, St. Maries HSFB
1530 WCKY Cincinnati OH floating right under KFBK w/ ESPN programming

and a real kicker on 1570 - classic hits! This had to be something really GOOD! Billy Joel, and England Dan, then lost. Really suspecting 250 watt KAKK Walker, MN. XERF on top. KBCV Hollister, MO just popped in as well with a Bott reference.

Can't tell - stream doesn't work, no playlist. No stream for KAKK either. A mystery.

This happened to me in September as I tried to figure out a station playing the eagles (On 970 if I remember correctly). I propose a requirement that all music stations have a website with a working "recently played" tab.

That's too much to ask for my closest station on 1490. KYNR Toppenish, ran by the Yakama Nation, has no website and no stream. But they seem to have plenty of Native listeners as I have heard birthday greetings and announcements, sometimes they run Yakama Tribal School sports too...
Their music mix is like a Jack FM 'jacked' up with steroids and powwows. 1950s through today, I've heard everything from Bill Haley to Bobby Brown, mixed with lots of powwow chanting. The signal gets out well at night for that reason.

They make 1490 khz worth tuning into, when they're audible on the channel.

This past Sunday a little before sunrise, I heard brief snatches on 1060 of what sounded like comedy bits during fades of XECPAE (formerly XEEP). My radio, a CC Skywave + a Terk loop, was aimed N-NW.

When I reviewed the recording, I was able to make out a telephone comedy skit and a comedian making jokes to an audience about God getting into the theme park business.

I presume this was CKMX in Calgary, which would be a new logging at 1,671 miles. I can’t find anything else on 1060 that matches the format, and I haven’t heard the station again since then either at sunrise or at night.

Impressive stuff, crain. Congratulations! KAAK? I've been to Walker a few times and wasn't even aware of KAAK. The full disc;osure is whenever I've rolled into Walker, it's been after a long stretch of driving through the north woods, and a pit stop at the local Hardee's as you come into town gets more of my attention than checking out the local radio dial.

As for WCKY, I'm wondering if you got them on daytime ND or the nighttime directional pattern, WCKY can go for as much as three hours beyond Cincinnati sundown before having to turn on the DA....;which protects sister station KFBK.

I heard KAKK in Wyoming once or twice.

Love the name of the town lol

Here in Chicago, I just logged 1650 CKZW in Montreal, for my 7th out of the 12 Montreal area stations. It was a bit of challenge since there's CINA in Toronto and KCNZ in Cedar Falls, Iowa which tend to block anything else.

Also, on 970 I'm getting a NewsRadio something or other, which also mentions a sister frequency of 1500. This isn't the first time I've heard this form of an ID, but I'm not sure what it would be. Is this just a rebranding of WGTK Louisville? I'm pretty sure it's not the Tampa station.

I'm going to skip to shortwave to ask what programming could've been on 6105, I think it sounded Ethnic. Otherwise, 540 CBK was blasting in, a rarity so far this year.

As far as I know, WGTK is still The Answer and there's no 1500. WFLA uses "newsradio" but also no 1500.

Stumbled across WDSM 710 Superior, Wis. (suburb of Duluth) this morning at 6:30. Clear as a bell on their 10 kW day pattern for a few minutes. Only other 710s I've gotten are WOR (Lyndhurst and Rutherford sites) and, last fall, a Radio Rebelde boomer. Nice surprise.

I dialed up 630 this morning at around 11am CDT on the radio in the rental car that I'm using for my road trip this coming week. It's a VW Jetta. The jury is out as to whether its a good car. But it does have a really good radio. I did hear at least one signal, some "fluttering", and a male voice, but no music. But what I heard was much to weak for me to identify. My best guess is that it was KJSL with the male voice and perhaps CFCO causing the fluttering effect. Only a guess. I did hear KSTL and WJR with enough audio coming through for me to identify, which is always a good litmus test.
