WWL audible fair to good at 925pm AK Sat Jan 13 with The Ramsey Show and the Cuban Wobbler very obviously present under them. Heard them damn near local level strength about a week or so ago.

"Doble-u" and "Doble-ve" are the two ways of saying "W" in Spanish.
In some places, like Puerto Rico, both are used commonly. WUNO uses "Doble-ve" while WKAQ used "Doble-u".
Similarly, "Y" may be "yea" in some nations and "ee-griega" in others.

Meanwhile, KYW 1060 Philadelphia (!!) weakly dominating over KGFX...that's only the second time since CKMX signed off and it's stronger than the last time. WBBM-780 Chicago also in with local ads in KKOH null. CKJH-750 Melfort under KXTG 'Beach Radio'
Sports on 670 under KBOI has to be WSCR.
KMON-560 Great Falls good signal tonight, probably on day pattern. Coast to Coast on 600, could be KCOL or KOGO (or even WMT, but unlikely). Not strong and CJWW is also in there.
1390 has a weak KLGN Logan UT on top of a jumble.

For some reason fast awake here at an unacceptable 6AM, I spun some GE SR 2 battery dial for a few AQH;s, and wound up with a newie for the log this MM Jan 15th.
Female vocal ended at 6:45, still dark out the window here. Guy comes on and says a pretty clear -- I thought -- 'The Breeze 13-50, WZHI'.
The only true authority (Radio Locator, hi) lists a WCHI in Ohio, as 'Easy 1350' -- and as a soft A/C station. But -- since the recent radio marketing trend is to skywrite any and all FM translators first before mentioning (hush now) any mere AM shack ..... and since the listed WCHI mentions just the 1350 signal .... to me that was they and I'm counting it. I phoned them anyway and left a message to call me back.

Shortly after 2am EST, I got a mix of CBI Sydney, NS and WRVA Richmond, VA on 1140 in Clifton, NJ. CBI was airing Living Planet while WRVA was airing commercials and a weather report. The theme music and talking from CBI was audible at times until Coast to Coast AM on WRVA started. CBI's transmitter is 782 miles (1,260 km) away from me at 10,000 watts.
Shortly before 5pm EST, I received WWCO "Viva! Radio" Waterbury, CT on 1240 in Clifton, NJ. It was not the TOH legal ID, but to keep a decent signal long enough to get an ID on a graveyard frequency after sunset is amazing.
Around 6:15pm EST, I received WBOM Meriden, CT on 1470. The signal was in and out, but I heard "102.5 Hartford's R&B and Throwbacks Station" clearly. No sign of WSAN Allentown, PA like I usually get.

Vastly different times and conditions today, what with seemingly every licensed AM station on autopilot and going 24/7/52/365/infinity. For instance: on 1240 back in Queens just NW of JFK Airport, back in the 60's, semi-local Long Islander WGBB used to sign off at 1AM each night. Occuying the frequency overnight were WBAX Wilkes-Barre (the louder), with a fainter WWCO under them. Both were top 40 then. At times, other stations used to fiddle around staying on all night into Monday mornings, I was the most incompetent of the four DXers there in southeast Queens and wound up with 27 different stations heard on 1240. Here in PA I've heard a staggering total of three (3) on 1240 -- one of them a code test from WWON Rhode Island. Not exactly a regular-schedule cornucopia there, lol.

1KW Radio Tarma on 4775khz from Peru was just pounding in despite CODAR just after 0100UTC Tue Jan 16th (Which is 4pm AK Time Monday)

Pretty awesome catch! I just saw the video you uploaded on YouTube. I used to try for KOA but I thought Cleveland and Boston's 850 would make it impossible. Sort of like the obstacle of ever receiving WDAQ Danbury during tropo. With 2 similar format stations WMGQ and WKJY.
From Springfield, OH, got a nice slew of new logs at 5PM local time yesterday, like there was some strong SE to NW propagation wind (sure that's not the technical term!). The wild thing is that at 4:45PM, I was still hearing almost nothing other than the typical daytime only suspects. 15 minutes apparently is a lot at dawn/dusk. I hate waking up early so dusk is now my new favorite time to listen.

I didn't even know sandhills lived in Ohio. They were yearlong regulars in FL when I lived there. Maybe they retired there.
Some nest here but never known them to winter here. Maybe they hadn't flown south yet since winter had been so mild. Maybe they know I own 2 Ccranes?
Great catch! I believe I also heard a KOA ID from NYC several years ago, but it seemed so improbable to me at the time that I didn't completely trust what I heard. Now I know it's possible and I might not be crazy after all...

I had seen Loyd in Louisiana report hearing KNWN recently so I began checking 1000 occasionally, finding just XEOY/KTOK and rarely WMVP. Happened to wake up around 3am today, grabbed the radio from the nightstand and checked 1000 and sure enough, there was KNWN.
New station, new state logged:
