to put into perspective how strong 11780 from Brazil is here in Wyoming, on peaks it registers a signal as strong as 5000 Watt KOWB 1290 that’s only 2 miles away from me!
Going through old tape from Cascade ID, I can now confirm CKVH-93.5 High Prairie AB from an E-skip opening on August 4th, 2025. "New Country" jingle in this clip. This ends up as the 500th FM logged from Cascade. Hard to believe...but in just over a year of rural living, I pulled out 500 FMs, many of which were on the 4-element antenna. What an awesome place to DX from.

best i’ve ever done is the 1 watt from KYET 1170 7 years ago and 10kw from 8000 miles away when i was in alaska
Checked 640 here in Houston last night and Cuba's Radio Progreso was booming in, best signal from them in a while.
