Post your latest DX

92-9 NIN Wichita Falls has destroyed Z93 Dayton on an SDR in Greenville, Ohio. WGTZ is 21 miles away from the site operator. Demolishing them like an EF4 tornado. Unbelievable, historic E-skip, much like 7/6/2004.

MUF is STILL at NOAA band and there's close to 2 dozen stations logged by DXers across the eastern 2/3rds of the U.S.

The last 30 minutes have been OK, TX and NM into that same receiver...with more locals wiped out across the board. Dozens of stations, ranging from KSMX-107.5 Clovis NM to much of the Dallas radio market, Abilene full-quieting on 107.9 Rock 108 KEYJ, KEAN 105.1, KNTU-88.1, goes on and on. Lots of religious and country FMs and some SS.

Wow 😮 KLWV on 90.9 from LARAMIE WYOMING - 1360 Miles Away - heard almost static free under our local WYFG 91.1 which is 100kw C1 only 5 miles away!

Also, 89.1 KGOH from Colby Kansas behind WLFJ

KUWY 88.5 with 135 Watts is the 3 bay thats on the other side of the tower from KKUWR.
the 2nd from the bottom with a radome cover on it is KUWL with 110 Watts.

The bottom radome is K278CM 103.5, 250 watts which relays a KUWR HD Channels all music format

The 8 bay on the right tower is KCGY 95.1 Laramie, WY with 100kw. The 2 bay is an auxiliary for KLWV 90.9

Wow so I was just hearing audio from that site here in Upstate S.Carolina at 8:08 p.m. eastern time tonight. šŸ˜‰ Funny how with 91.1 WYFG tower (BBN) within line of sight to my location only a few miles away.

With those charged/ionized E-layer clouds being halfway between the listener (me) and the DX station, Aren't E-Skip conditions usually reciprocal by location? If so then someone in Wyoming or West Kansas / Minnesota / Sioux Falls / Upper Midwest should simultaneously be able to hear stations in (or not far from) my area, while I was hearing stations from there.

Earlier this evening, I saw an SDR in Central Wisconsin was turned to and receiving stations (E-Skip) from the South Carolina and Georgia coast.

Also nice to see those MUFs up to 165 MHz today

KS, MO, IA, and IL FM stations were wreaking havoc in Lebanon, PA. I didn’t have much time to scan, but positively ID’d two and kind of a third:
-96.3 KERP ā€œThe Marshallā€ Ingalls, KS
-93.9 KSOU Sioux Center, IA
-96.7 K-Love - found a few class A K-Love stations from Illinois, but no legal ID to confirm which, if either one.

I had a brief, weak but INTERESTING night in far SE Wyoming. Everything I had was from southern Louisiana between 715 and 815pm MT tonight (Fri July 24th). Ruston/Bastrop/Monroe/New Orleans and it didnt get above 91mhz

BUT I had a "pop" sounding spike on 92.7 that kept coming in an hour a little after most of Louisiana had faded.. and it faded up right during a commercial once... for a blinds/shutters company.. the company name and stress address were heard well but with enough static that it made it hard to find.

Sounded like "Labbidy blinds..... 1025 something boro road........... uptown hyde park"

Turns out this was CJBX-FM London, Ontario! The business in question? Labadie Blinds, 1025 Gainsboro road in the uptown Hyde Park neighborhood!

Nice catch from Ontario, Paul! 99% of those Es signals wouldn't have affected me at my new place in Montana had I already moved. Just too far away from the Big Sky.
The ionosphere is white, scorching hot right now! I would love nothing more than Es every day until the Perseids shower peak. This could go down as one of the greatest sporadic-E seasons on record for FM DX in North America.

And YES...high band DTV was confirmed today! Someone in Nebraska got WUSA-DT 9 in DC on Es, confirmed PSIP lock. And a report of KOCO Oklahoma City into Ohio today...KOCO is on RF 7 (of course, virtual 5). WOW!

i was like.. HYDE PARK? That sure as heck doesnt sound like lousiana.

I was trying to search blinds companies using the street address and it wasnt until i told a friend what the comp[any name sounded like and mentioned uptown hyde park that we figured it out

The skip did make it to the West Coast late last night. And it's a rarer path (for this season at least). All relogs.

Starting at 10:35PM

10:37 - 93.1 KLJZ Yuma, AZ; promos, Z93, Yuma County mentions. 100KW at 1012 miles
10:41 - 95.1 KTTI Yuma, AZ; with Radio Nueva Vida and RDS. 50KW at 1014 miles
10:43 - 95.5 KYOT Phoenix, AZ; RDS. 96KW at 1019 miles
10:43 - 92.3 KTAR Phoenix, AZ; with The Ramsey Show. 98KW at 1019 miles
10:43 - 93.3 KDKB Mesa, AZ; Arizona's Alternative, promo. 100KW at 1019 miles
10:44 - 88.3 KVCP Phoenix, AZ; hymns matching VCY stream. 22.5KW at 1002 miles
10:47 - 90.5 KSOS Las Vegas, NV; "For God is With Us" For King and Country // playlist. 100KW at 786 miles

Had an SS UNID on 96.3 that was likely relog KSSB Calipatria CA, will be uploading a recording soon. Briefly had SS on 92.7 (Vegas?) also a Christian station that was *not* Air 1 Los Angeles, with "Ain't No Way" Jamie MacDonald. May have been a 250 watt translator in Kingman AZ.

@crainbebo if you have audio or picture, send a note on KLJZ reception to [email protected] shes the OM there and i know shed love to hear from you

Brief Es 88.7 CFWR Red Deer, AB, Can with Adam Gregory "Horseshoes" 548pm MT 7/25 in far SE Wyoming. Like a 20 second fade up, that I was banking on not being a car modulator thingymaboob... and I new country on 88.7 would likely be north of the border so this wasn't hard match top a stream while the song was still playing. Faded back up about 16 minutes later for like 10 seconds with radio bingo

Brief ES "Smile FM" on 88.3, 627pm MT 7-25-26 in far SE WY .. a brief fade up with the station name and maybe a few bits of a song. They have 4 88.3 signals, it was likely the Marquette one
