Posting for KQMV PD

I noticed the posting (on allaccess) for PD at KQMV requires an airshift, and the shift is 10a-2p. I thought Monti Carlo was hired to do that shift. Also, isn't a little strange in market 14 to require the PD to do an airshift. The other PD's in the Factoria Mall Radio Supercenter don't do shifts...what's that all about? Is it possible that Marc Kaye is getting even cheaper??
 
lisa adams was holding down the 10-2 and pd. why post two jobs when you can post one and have your pd track it? and one other pd at sandusky does do a shift, carol handley does at kwjz. and in seattle, what about kent phillips at star? how about eric powers at kube? there are a few out there. just because its market 14 doesn't mean you cant find a talented pd who wants to be a part of airstaff as well. its probably better to search for a pd and hear how they are on-air before you hire a pd and they tell you that they'll be doing middays when they couldn't do a good shift to save their lives.

This is utter nonsense but proof positive that stations run on drive by consulting with PDs playing house. What a horrible joke.

How embarrasing!

Who is running things? Is anyone in charge there? What is going on? Management by memo?

No, Sandusky's always been cheap. Carol Handley at KWJZ does middays. Laura Dane at KRWM pulls shifts on a regular basis. Bobby Irwin was forced into a shift at KLSY before he got fed up and left and when KIXI was live PD Bob Brooks did midday shift. Nothing new in Factoria, same old same old.
