According to http://nyradio.blogspot.com/ On February 28, just a couple of days after Entercom entered their LMA with the San Francisco Cluster, power1021.com was registered but no registrant information was attatched. Could this be KDFC?
Just because it has the "POWER" name doesn't mean it means urban. Yes most stations with the "Power" moniker are usually Urban or CHR/Rhythmic but here are some websites of stations using the "Power" moniker that are not. They are either Mainstream Top 40 or Rock. Check them out www.power96.com www.power97.com www.power103.com www.power104.fmmarko83 said:I think the only "Power" station Entercom owns is in Wichita, KS and it was already named that when they purchased the station. Also, I can't imagine them putting another urban station on, which is usually what the "Power" moniker suggests. I think everyone is jumping the gun.
more googling reveals: http://www.kprr.com KPRR-102.1 El Paso Texas. Could it have been registered by this station for future use? Or maybe not...Lkeller said:...and just a little googling reveals:

WRCX, Boston. The URL could have been registered for this station's 'under construction' website.
Or maybe not...

Unless they're not updating like they used to, I'm seeing Power1021.com as available:
http://whois.domaintools.com/power1021.com
Edit: Just checked a couple other sources which ALL say it was registered March 7th. I'm posting this at 10:24p March 6th, so someone overseas got it in the last few hours???
GMT (greenwich mean time) is 8 hours different from the west coast. that's usually the time urls are registered by - GMT
i could be wrong though.![]()
