Power 103.5 Oklahoma City...

I would like to have your opinion on how they are running the station.

I pesonally feel the overall presentation is okay. They just need to make some adjustments.

I believe all of Russell Perry's stations are very progressive with the music they play. I've heard them play music that was never played on any other station. That is the main thing I dig about K98Jamz, Power 103.5, and K-Jamz 105.3.

Speaking of which, the stream for Perry's urban AC KGTO-AM Tulsa is now available, I am interested to hear how they differ from KRMP in OKC. I think they run many of the same shows.

Yes, they pretty much have the same programming like they do on their AM sister stations like KRMP in OKC and KKRX in Lawton/Fort Sill, OK where it's mostly Talk and Infomercials and very less emphasis on music. The only difference is on Sunday afternoons they have a Jazz & Blues show that's hosted by Harry Cooper who's been in the Tulsa market for a long time. He's has a good mix of music worth listening to.

I would really be enthused if they started doing more frequent and live mixing. I also would like for them to get more artists to stop in.

Thanks for the info about KGTO Tulsa. The stream for KGTO-AM doesn't seem to quite work yet.... worth keeping an eye on.

I do like the music mix on KRMP-AM OKC.

honestly, i like the stations, but they way they are ran raises a lot of questions. lets start with the jocks...
i think the jocks at perry's kjmm in tulsa are much much better. at kvsp, it sounds like a college hip-hop station at times. jocks messing up left and right not reading liners worth anything. also nothing hits the post! all there drops and songs almost fade out to slience before the next song start or drop starts. anf finally there processing is horrible. it sounds like a A.M. station on a F.m. signal. but...... a little changes on those 3 things and they would sound 100 times better. get some people that can really jock, (i know they got local talent who can), tighten up everything, and work on that processing to make it sound like an F.M. signal should.
