Power 103 PD/Morning man leaves

Brad Elliott left Power 103 this past week. I listened in and heard John Scott filling in. What do you guys think would be a good direction for the station? Brad was a good PD. He will be hard to replace.
 
Do Power 103 still sound rhythmic? I think that's what Abilene needs. Lubbock, Amarillo, Midland/Odessa, and Wichita Falls all have one. Abilene needs to keep pace.
 
Rhythmic in Abilene doesn't work at ALL. They had a perceptual done that they "thought" said Abilene wanted more Rhythmic music. They tried it out for a year and the ratings tanked. They wen't back to Mainstream CHR with a Rhythmic lean and ratings blew up. SO with that said, after the Rhythmic disaster, corporate's Jan Jeffries realized that "Hey! The perceptual was wrong!"... If Cumulus would let their PD's actually PROGRAM, then maybe their stations would sound good. Brad did a good job of that, he was more of a rebel to their policy.
 
Well if that's the case, I'm sure glad that I don't live in Abilene.
