I love a handful of songs on Power, but yes, the station is really disorganized. There's something I like to call “genre stability” that I find rare in Variety CHRs like Power. You play 3-6 songs in one genre, play one crossover song with an artist from another genre, then go into that artist's genre. Rinse, wash, repeat. Seriously, I've seen more of this in La Calle than I have in Power. 😖

POWER 105.3 GOING AWAY?

What change do you see happening for 97.5 FM? I would love to note what you think.I suspect August 1 will just see a translator shuffle involving Power and Radio Vision Latina. Anyone’s guess where Power goes until they actually announce a change on air.
Change is likely coming to 97.5, but might be a few months away. Oops, I had sworn off speculating about that…🤫

@TheEngineer975, get ready to fire up that stereo pilot. You, David Gow, and the rest of the crew on West Alabama may not know it, but these good folks have been plotting the "imminent change" of 97.5 for right at a year. Maybe longer, now.

I fully expect a change is on the way for 97.5 but will take some time to play out.
He might want to pry some answers out of the group that AIUI subleases office space from Gow?
