Power 105.3 QUESTION

With all these immigration events happening in the USA where many Centro Americans are coming. Once they get settled and start working will Power Cater to them and possibly get better ratings? I went to The Kemah Board walk Saturday night and to my surprise.

It was full of Centro Americans. Like I go once in a while, had not been there in almost 4 months and last time I went it was full of Anglo, African-Americans, some Asians. But maybe it was just Latino day? Lol jk.

But seriously I think many have stayed here I. Texas. And Power has been catering to them since they started.

The morning guy on Power is from El Salvador. Obviously, they are trying to appeal to that group.

But keep in mind that new immigrants from any nation are very unlikely to get on the Nielsen PPM panel. Those that are not legal will not be found on databases and, even if found, not sign up to be tracked 24/7. Those that are recent legal immigrants will not be in the recruiting databases Nielsen uses because "mobile" people don't get on stable databases easily.

I also don't think a translator cares that much about ratings. Even if they're using *TWL as their call signs for ratings.
