I like the fact Power 106 playing more throwback from the 90’s and early 2000’s. Any thoughts on their format tweak.

Yeah because KDAY is already serving the old Power 106 listeners.Just as long as they don't overstep their boundaries with KDAY. That's my opinion.
I’m only 29 but I remember The Beats “No Color Lines” campaign but let’s get back on topic.I listened too to John London and the house party on the beat years ago. Remember folks no color lines that's how the beat became famous

I already know that they are owned by the same company. Power 106 is doing what they should’ve been doing this last decade and that means playing all generations of hip hop and capture the upper demo that used to listen to the station in the 90’s.Keep in mind that KDAY and Power are owned by the same company.
KDAY is on their HD2 so I doubt that is going to happenJust as long as they don't overstep their boundaries with KDAY. That's my opinion.
Rightfully so. They were literally leaving kday out to die. It was a dumb move to even think of trying to add more throwbacks/gold to power’s library. There’s nothing that can be done about power. They should’ve kept big boy happy. No need for any format change. but, it’ll just continue to get dominated by 92.3I looked at the mediabase recently played songs and Power has started to lean more current hip hop again because I don’t see any 90’s hip hop on their playlists.
92.3 should be the one playing some more 90’s throwback with their current hip hop.Rightfully so. They were literally leaving kday out to die.
