I think that Power has lost some of its listeners to KXOL,KDAY,KIIS,KHHT, and even KBIG(older demos). With so many stations on the attack, how should KPWR regroup to be #1 12+ again?

Should they play more reggaeton, old skool, or even dance...should they fire some of the airstaff? Personally I think that most of the airstaff excluding the morning show sounds to "ghetto"/urban...I think this station needs a more friendly airstaff...bring back the Boomer, St John...

I don't think Power needs to panic. Didn't radioresearcher say they are #1 18-34? That's more important than 12+. They are still one of the overall top stations, within a half a share of #1 12+. Stations at this high a level rarely make major changes.

What suprised me is that KXOL had a HUGE jump yet Power barely went down. If anything KKBT is the station that needs to take a hard look at things.

Power 106 is just fine... They are No. 1 in their core demo of 18-34. Personally, I'd take being No. 1 18-34 over No. 1 12+ every single day. I don't get why people think Power needs to regroup, panic, or bring back their old air staff because they lost a few tenths 12+...

Most of the Power loss was in teen Hispanics, not a money demo.

Any time you are #1 in amajor demo, like 18-34 or 25-54, you are totally in the money. It does not matter whether you are #1 or #4... the difference is usually a few tenths of a point. The difference in billing is barely perceptable. I have been with LA stations that are #1 12+, 18-34 and 25-54, 18+, Women 18+, etc. As long as you are near the top, you win.

im just glad the morning show at power got rid of fat joe and now has less of fuzzy, those two were killing the show!!!!

12+ numbers don't mean squat, unless you're living in 1974. It's their ranking in their demo that counts.
