Power 106's 20th Anniversary coming soon

You think Power 106 will do a tribute to the old days like they did back in 1996? Their anniversary is coming in a few months. 20 years on January 11th to be exact. Wouldn't it be sweet if they debuted Power 106 HD2 as a Dance format to coincide with the anniversary....Stay tuned.

You bet! But just how they'll do a tribute is the big question. It would be great if they brought back the original jocks, edits/powermixes, IDs/sweepers from the early days, but my guess is they'll just mix records from each represented year from 1986 up through 2005.

Maybe they'll also have a special 20-year anniversary Powerhouse concert too.

I hope they do. It'll be intersting to see if Jay Thomas, Boomer, Monica Brooks, The Baka Boys, Michelle Mercer, Jeff Wyatt, Steve Smith, Snoop Dogg, Stacey Q, George McFly, St.John, Bruce St.James, Miranda, Al Tavera, and anyone associated with the stations' history(whether they were on-air, behind the scenes, or getting their songs exposed) return for this milestone event.
