Power 107.1 FM will start on February 3rd

CLI Radio will debut Adult R&B “Power 107.1” 1180 WLTT Carolina Beach/107.1 W296DP Wilmington NC on Monday, February 3.

The new format replaces the current mix of Christian Talk and Spanish language programming on WLTT, coinciding with the launch of the translator. Programming on WLTT will include the syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show, Omega Jones in middays, and General Manager Doug Williams in afternoons. The announcement of the new format was made this morning on WECT-TV.

It's about time. No one in Myrtle Beach or Wilmington has played urban AC in years. Although a translator is only going to cover Wilmington and I don't know how much territory the AM covers. Actually, I don't know if Greenville/New Bern has the format.
