Fergie is now #1 and they play it every hour. This is to attack WNCI. EFFECTIVE TODAY.
 
Actually, not funny. I was being serious. I like your screen name. Mine comes from the days when I did mornings on Power's OTHER station...Jammin Oldies 98.9. So much ppotential, so little corporate commitment.

I have always throught WCKX 107.5 should just go ahead and label themself as a CHR/Rhythmic. Since the 90's, WCKX have always played some pop music. Why label themself Urban? About half (if not more) of the people listening to WCKX are suburban people.
They and WDHT 102.9 in Dayton, play the same songs. Radio One have KBFB Dallas,WPHT Philadelphia, KTTB Minneapollis, KBXX Houston, and WHHH Indianapolis.

Don't CHR/RHYTHMIC stations in some citys bill better than stations that label themself as Urban?

Just look at WQHT New York, and WPGC Wash DC.

I know who you are, and I listened to you at Magic. Are you back on the air? I've heard your voice on a handful of commercials, but, not on the air, yet. I loved that station, too. Whatever happened to Maci Drake?

We have TWO winners!

Not back on the air, unfortunately. It seems I am a dinosaur now. I still do a bunch of commercial work all over the globe (thank goodness for broadband internet!) and I work for a radio weather service doing forecasts around the country. I have my own small studio but I make most of my dollars as a Realtor now.

As for the rest of the Jammin staff, Maci went to Michigan with her husband when he got a job up there. We emailed for awhile but lost touch. Tracy Leek is on the midday shift at 104.9. Johnny Hill became John Hill and you can hear him doing traffic on Channel 6.
 
Wow! Yeah back when I used to live in Columbus, I listened to the old Magic and it was great. I then moved here and got MOJO but they recently switched. I am left without my Rhythmic Oldies. Unfortunately. Although, I do remember you Chuck of course. Joe told me you were there together and it brought back memories as I remember going to the Power 106 studios when I was little (I am 14 now). I met Warren, probably you, it was great then.
