POWER 1075 : Paul Strong out and Intros In

Paul Strong is out and moving to afternoons at Magic 989? Wonder where that'll put Warren Stevens?

Supposed to start Nov 29...

Also, a lot of 1075's songs have intros to them, noticed that difference. Wonder why this is?
 
Paul Strong's been on "Power" back when it was on 106.3. I remember in the 9th grade I did a job shadowing project, and I got to meet Paul Strong. I'm now about to be 30, so I'd imagine Paul's getting a little long in the tooth. I guess 98.9 would be more his style, especially with the hip hop stations emphasizing youth culture.
 
Paul has had a good long run with Power. Others may have been around longer but he has been the most stable personality in Urban radio since KC back at 15WVKO when they were "The Soul of The City"

You mean a computerized-like voice intro-ing the tunes like how Q102/Cincy back announces them?
Also, i'm willing to bet Radio One will stick Russ Parr on in Morning Drive as a cost-cutting measure. He's always done well on WDHT/Hot 102.9, the #3 station in Dayton.
I'm sure Paul IS getting a little long in the tooth as a previous poster said. At least Radio One found a place for him instead of firing him altogether. Who last did afternoons at Magic?
