Power 2 Rock Flop . The Hot Movement .

Power was not all that Great , but this new rock station on 104.1 , is hittin' a new low ( Ugly Ratings ) . Boston/Hartford share the same Format on this signal..... and the same low ratings . Hot 93.7 ( Best station In New England ) is loving this ( Hot Ratings is really HOT right Now) .
 
Hot 93.7 has been staying the same the past three books with a 7.0, CBS Radio Hartford must be proud to have the top three stations. As for 96.5 TIC they tied with Kiss with a 4.0, not offen do those two tie. And 104.1 is below the Buckley AM talk stations, nothing much to say about that station.

It's been a low-rated station on the 12+ for a very long time. Though, I for one am glad there's a alternative format back on the radio. How many stations do you need playing Flo-rida and T-Pain, etc? Let's face it, comercial radio in this country is mostly garbage.
 
Power 104.1 at least had DJs. I don't like rap but I listed to their shows once in a while. "The new 104.1" was fun for a week or two, but now it just sounds so boring and dead that even though I like their music, I'm rarely listening.

I agree with you 100%. The misuc is good (though they could throw in more newer stuff), but the presentation is awful. Cheap Channel won't invest much in 104.1 though since they're supposedly looking to sell the station.
 
Just wait until you guys get the PPMs. Its known the current method is antiquated. That's where you will see a potentially better rating for Radio 104.1. Better yet, ratings no longer drive formats, revenue does. If they are not billing high, the station will go poof.

The jabroni who started this thread just likes to relish when (in his perception) rock stations tank. Why? He hates rock!!!!

Yeah, that's pretty obvious. Plus, there's no way this market can support 2 rythmics. This is not New York or Philadelphia.
 
I Love WHJY Providence ( There Your Rock ) . Its to bad , Not many Rock stations in America , can live on the same Block, as WHJY Providence R.I. I am not a fan of Rock/Jack Format ( Music station with No DJ's SUCKS ). If I want to hear a Jack Format station , Music choice on Comcast cable ,is a better than all these Jack Radio stations CRAP .

That's the problem here in CT, with the exception of I-95 (WRKI) we don't even have a decent rock station. I agree WHJY is great.
