POWER 92.3 NOW POWER 98.3

...and simulcasting on both frequencies for the time being.

Gangbanger 98.3 was coming in OK on the car radio
in the 'Tuke this morning. Not as loud as 92.3 and
seemed to sound flatter, but a solid stereo signal.

Meanwhile, around 44th St. and Thomas in east Phoenix
the signal was tearing and the stereo dropping out.
Looks like their contour plot draws back a bit in that area
(on both the FCC site and Radio Locator).

And their legal ID around 12:00pm was indeed legal--
"KZGL Mayer, KKFR Glendale/Phoenix."

is it coming as good as suicide 103.9?

The skipping/clicking sound is very noticeable in Mesa. Is this the best the signal will be?

You can't move mountains, so there will always be multipath problems for 98.3 on the east side, just like there is with 103.9 on the west side (and especially the northwest side).

Even 100kW South Mountain sticks have multipath problems in parts of the north Valley due to the North Mountain range.
