how this station still on in chicago everybody listen to gci when will will power flip the switch how come i here last house on power when they promote shows with house djs chicago need a all house radio station.
 
I dont even live in Chi-town but everytime i do go i only listen to WGCI.

I forgot that they had a power station out there.

Don't fall for DJ'S poor spelling and grammer. He's just clowning us like he really speaks and spell that way.

I'd bet he graduated from college with top honors and a degree majoring in english. ;)

Its time to start a DJfrresh Fan Club . DJFrresh RULES ! is Power 92 located in Indiana ? Like 24 said, When I am in Chicago, GCI or B96 is the first two stations I look for.

Power 92 has their studios located in Hammond Indiana, their COL. The station's tower is located just on the Illinois side in Burnham. Their signal is directional to the SW, NE, and to an extent, to the west to protect WHPD 92.1 Dowagiac, MI, 92.7 WKIF Kankakee (due to WKIF signing on under the current spacing rules, which requires protection), and 92.5 WDEK Dekalb. Power 92 is heard best in Chicago on the south side and south suburbs. The signal isn't as good in the immediate downtown area (unless you have a good enough radio), nor in most of the northern suburbs. They can't easily move to downtown due to 92.7 WKIE in Arlington Heights, but it has more to do with WEZY Racine WI on 92.1.

We have the same problem with Hot 102.7 WHTD FM here in Detroit,MI. WHTD FM 102.7 whose transmitter is located northeast of Detroit in Clinton Township, have to aim their 50,000 watts from their antenna directional to protect 102.9 FM WWWW (W4 Country) to the southwest in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and 102.5 FM WIOG (The Hit Music Channel) in Saginaw, Michigan, because of this Hot 102.7 only comes in the best on the east side of Detroit and the eastern suburbs of Detroit. I live in Inkster, Michigan in the western suburbs of Detroit and the signal out here in the west of Detroit is very weak, and you have to have a very good radio to pick up Hot 102.7.

Hot 102.7 is a hip-hop radio station here in Detroit. http://www.hot1027detroit.com
