I heard somewhere that Beasley may flip Power 96.5 to dance with a Spanish lean. The new format will be called "Fuego 96.5" and will play today's hottest dance hits and reggaeton.
Sounds pretty interesting

The only problem with what they're doing this morning is that they have their timeframes all mixed up. It's *January 1993* according to what they're trying to establish, but they are calling themselves "96x" at a time when they had long been Power 96. They also were joking about a concert *this weekend* at Casanova's when Casanova's had already closed in 1993. It was funny hearing Laz drop Ciro Llerena's name in there, since he currently works for Clasica.
They were playing a Freestyle mix earlier today at 12 PM, I don't know if they have been doing that for a while since I don't listen to that station, just passed by it by coincidence. And now they are playing classic hip hop and dance music. So, I don't know if this true or like someone on here stated a "April Fool's" joke.
