Effective 10/22, The Nutz in the morning are no longer.
J Philla was "surgically removed" from his other nut and now only his long time FORMER partner Joey remains.
It goes even deeper... word around the Lawman "convention" is that Big Boy will soon add KKFR to his team of stations in the a.m. which pushes Joey to pm drive time and Jay Times Three bumps back to night show duties.
This all despite fairly respectable numbers in the recent book by all parties involved- I mean affected!

so Riviera Broadcasting is now going to ruin Power also? what a bunch of morons! watch as their ratings tumble just like The Edge

I agree, if you have a fairly succesful am drive show why risk it to save a few dollars, especially when you are at a signal disadvantage. Assuming these rumors are true, Big Boy might do OK and he might tank, but is tsill doesn't make much sense on that signal unless your am drive show just totally sucks.

Did Bruce St. James forget to tell his webmaster, because the Nutz (and JPhilla) are still on KKFR's website.

???
no but in the cheapest of all cheap moves j.philla is still "employeed" for the remainder of his contract (expires begining of December) but he just doesnt need to trouble himself with the old pesky "come into work" thing. This avoids Riviera from technically firing him and thu being required to pay severance...
