Bruce St. James, program director for KEDJ-FM (103.9) and KKFR-FM (98.3), said the move to a hip-hop format has been common knowledge in the radio industry for the past few days. He's not worried about another station entering KKFR's territory.
“What are they going to do?” he asks. “Play more hip-hop than us? Really, I think we'll be OK.”
