POWER SLIGHTLY leaning Rhythmic?

I read some old posts about when Power was heavy Rhythmic, and they were #1 in the city! Makes no sense why they flipped it! Hot 1029 is almost as rhythmic as they were back in '09 and they're #2 in the city here in Dayton.

The Power playlist today has a few of those rhythmic singles: Rolling In The Deep, E.T., and a new Cee Lo song called Fool You? I predict they'll add the new Tinie Tempah & Wiz Khalifa soon. It seems as if when Scott Sharp at Hot adds a risky rhythmic single, J.D. adds it to Power. I know J.D. used to work for Main Line so it sorta makes sense.

Do you think Power will eventually try rhythmic again with the market now being PPM? Will it stay Urban and continue to suffer in the ratings like a lot of Urban stations are? What do you think of the sound?

ljo, actually J.D. has always worked for Radio One. I believe he helped with the transition when Main Line came in, but he immediately left and went to Columbus once ML took over 100%.

I know this... but I doubt he helped with the transition for free. ;)

I doubt it. J.D. is a good guy, but don't mess with him.
