DJ Dan or anyone else with some intimate knowledge of these PPM results could probably answer this the best. Does it appear that one of the stations taking a big hit lately is the Mountain? That just seems surprising to me. Good morning show with a solid music mix. Music intensive throughout the rest of the day. However it appears their numbers have dropped significantly.

KMTT has similar AQH and slightly larger cume in the PPM compared to the Winter diary. The difference is some other stations have grown more. While KMTT was 12th in the diary 25-54, they are 14th in the PPM. There was a time a couple of years ago when KMTT was top five 25-54 on a four book. A series of PD moves and music changes are probably more to blame for the decline in ratings, just a guess. The bigger surprise change from the diary is KIRO-AM 16th, KOMO 17th and KIRO-FM 18th. That may also be due to programming and station shifts more than PPM.

CBS must be very happy today with the #1 and #2 station 25-54. Even with KPLZ not encoding through some of the book, due to the Fisher fire, they are still top three. KJR-FM solid in the top five and KRWM has inched back to top five as well. The PPM remains very stable.

Da Mountain ain't been the same hippie station since they got rid of their morning show and went through about three programmers ::) I get lots of horse pucky thrown at me on this board for pointing out Da WOLF is well ahead of KMPS but it looks to me that in every demo except 35-64 it is a pretty clear margin of victory in the country horse race. It certainly aint a photo finish. Funny that KZOK and JACK are battling it out when the same PD jockey rides em both :) KIRO, KOMO, KTTH whatever, the dogs got no bite :-X

Does anyone know how specific shows on KIRO are doing? [Smile] I know, I know - "KIRO is last century's news, Kylie!" [Embarrassed] Kylie is just curious if there are some bright spots they're seeing on the ol' death bed? [Roll Eyes] Anywho, if anyone knows, please let Kylie know! Uhhhh. bright spots? not really. There were few stories with Adults so you have to look at Men. Here's how it looks:

AM News - #9 M25-54, #6 M35-54, #9 M35-64, #8 A35-64, #4 M35+, #4 A35+

Dave Ross - #8 M25-54, #9 M35-54, #9 35-64, #6 M35+

Dori - #6 M25-54, #5 M35-54, #3 M35-64, #3 M35+

R&D - #13 M25-54, #9 M35-54, #7 M35-64, #7 M35+

Burbank – #21 M25-54, #20 M35-54, #22 M35-64, #19 M35+

Burbank’s highlight…#12t Adults 35-64. However, with Adults 35-54 he’s tied for 21st with KFNK…sad

Well, Kiley coulda predicted that!

KIRO wanted a show that would appeal to young folks so they got a cougar and a chubby dude on the downslide to middle-age to host it. [ROLL EYES] WTF?! [SMILEY]

Kiley's listened a handful of times a few months ago and, everytime they would take calls the caller would start out "I know I'm not in your demographic as I'm 50/60-some years old but I still love your show ..." --- the problem is ... no one in their demographic ever called! It was always people "young at heart." [SMILEY]

Can one of the ad gurus here let us know if advertisers are down with advertising hip and young products on shows whose listeners are "young at heart" even if they're "old in years"? LOL! [Slutty Eye Bat with Suggestive Lip Wetting] Is this the first show designed to appeal to the mid-life crisis crowd? LMAO!

LMAO - that reminds me, remind me to tell you the funny I pulled on that train wreck during one of those times I listened a few months ago someday. It involves a topless photo - SRSLY! [SMILEY]
