PPM FEB. TO BE RELEASED TODAY- PREDICTIONS

Alright, Arbitron will released the February PPM numbers today at 5, I will have them.

Here are my predictions:

Star94 will climb, it has hit the PERFECT format for the demos in the ATL.

B will drop, WSB will climb (election 2012), V-103 will likely stay the leader.

AGH will have gains, DAVE-FM will be lower than Rock-100.5

I think Bull will win country.

What are your prediction?

Predictions.....
1) Arbitron will continue to peal mega $$$ from insecure radio operators that NEED ratings (read: crack heads) to hype corporate, fuel their race to the bottom on rates and speed the devaluation of radio advertising.
From the keen sense for the obvious department.....Arbitron - a monopoly btw - charges radio for services, then gives the data to agencies who use the data to establish (read: grind you) the value of your product - who's in control here?? FUBAR!
2) Sales staffs that present prospects and advertisers integrated radio/digital campaigns and REAL results are poised to stand out from the stack of identical PPT decks in their clients trash cans, beat the market and win new business.
3) Speaking of PowerPoint....ANY sales person that walks in with a wire bound PPT deck where the first 10 slides include 1,000 bullet points about the station and nothing about the client's business, challenges or suggestive creative ideas will NEVER get my business.
4) Pandora will out cume 1/2 the Atlanta terrestrial stations within 3 years.
