PPM in SD....

Will the arrival of the PPM here in SD mean even more job cuts in this market? ???

Why would that happen?

I was thinking some PD's may finally have the evidence they need to employ more music, less talk.

There aren't too many PD's in San Diego who actually have any control over the format of "their" stations, but it does seem like there have been some ratings surprises in other markets that have challenged some programming assumptions and there's no reason that couldn't happen here.

Nah. One of the biggest gainers in LA is a high personality format.... like the diary, good stations go up, bad ones go down.

So you're saying the PPM has had no effect yet on the loss of any jobs in radio?
