PPM-Shut Up & Play The Hits

Recent article in the Boston Globe features experts explaining Arbiton's new Personal People Meters. PPM
Now in N.Y. and soon to be in Boston and all of Greater New England.

The data points out what most of us already knew, Listeners change stations when songs stop.

It clearly shows, the listening audience is very "trigger-happy."

Anyone remember the successful Drake format? Shut Up and Play The Hits! ;D

Are you talking about that dreck Clea Simon wrote yesterday about WBOS? Good God, how long has she been covering radio for the Globe? She's really not that great. She legitimately referred to BOS' old format as "soft rock." I kid you not.
