Praise 96.5

A few weeks ago i ran across a facebook page for Praise 96.5, and today while surfing the dial, i heard their top of the hour ID'ing as WMRK praise 96.5 FM.

I assume WMGY and it's southern gospel format are moving to a new frequency?

According to the al broadcast media page, WMRK 107.9 was K-love?

Let's scratch all those thoughts and start over.

From what I was told by Mr. Paul himself, WMGY FM is moving to 99.3, once that relay is built out.
(The owner of this new facility)

K-Love is still on 107.9 FM, far as I know.
I can get them some here in Selma.
Not too sure if WMRK is still the calls.

P.S. I've been searching for that new Facebook Page. So far, no success. Hope you can provide us with a link to it. I want to learn more.

if K-love is still on the air, then they must be using new calls, because 96.5 is id'ing as WMRK, 100% positive about that. and i don't believe 2 stations can use the same calls at the same time.

Here's the news on 96.5 FM and the WMRK calls.

Taken from Mr. Paul's own mouth: We just turned on 96.5 yesterday with Black Gospel to be filled in for WMRK-HD3 and Terry Barber’s gospel format he had on that station will soon be heard on 99.3.

Just like with TV, you have to have a .1, but you can have the subchannels any way you want. A station in Missouri had 31.1 and 31.31.
