Is the style of the Pratt show we're hearing now typical of his shows back in the day? I didn't arrive in the market until 2003, never heard his rock show....

I mean, you've got 50 somethings like Dees and Stern who are ahead of the curve, but they're the exceptions. For the most part, on-air talent is in their 40s, 50s, and even 60s, and the number of them who can relate to 20 somethings is fading fast.
