Precursor To Link Flip?

Listening to their online stream, there is a change during the commercial breaks. Instead of a Brian James-voiced liner, "You're listening to (insert show here) on 107.9 The Link, more next..." followed by an ad for a Link program, then a song, it is now a generic, snazzy jazz tune. And it's the same exact one used at every single commercial break.

The reason I'm bringing this up is because - at least on their Internet stream - they're no longer promoting the other programs on the station.

Let the speculation... continue.
______________

...snore...

It would be a shame if that happened. I don't listen often but I like the idea of lifestyle talk more than the political talk stations.

I doubt they will flip the format. I'm sure they make money with it even thought they don't have the highest ratings.

I have to give them credit for trying personality radio on FM.

That sounds more like they're making changes to better accomodate network clearance.

Can you believe this will be the first time this has been mentioned on this board, and this happened about two weeks ago?

I've got a question for you, Ray... How do you like being replaced by John Tesh? ;)
______________
