Predicting Howie Carr's Monday Show.............

It is not yet air time for Howie Carr's show but it is easy to predict he will waste most or all of the day on the return of Congressman Patrick Kennedy (D) Rhode Island after his return from the Mayo Clinic for prescription drug abuse. BORING !

I've not tuned it yet, but no doubt the Chump line will be full of it.What would you have Howie discuss for the 4 hours he's got to fill?

Republicans padding their salaries with lobbyist money, lies about getting us into war, the President spying on U.S. citizens, alternative energy, national healthcare, adding bigotry to the U.S. Constitution...just a few suggestions..he can always go back to talking about the Bulgers and try to sell a few more books....

That would cause Carr to do something he cannot do: think beyond the RNC's talking points. His book is just 'cut and paste' junk from his old newpaper columns.

Isn't funny that people like Howie will go on and on about his accident that didn't hurt anybody...AND BY THE WAY, I'M NOT SAYING IT WAS RIGHT....no way he should have been behind the wheel of a car, but at least he didn't get hurt, and didn't hurt anyone else. But they seem to forget when one of their own got drunk, went hunting without a permit, shot his friend square in the face, then waited to notify authorities so the booze could wear off.But Repubs will go on and on about the Kennedys.....It's laughable.

I don't know if I'd say that the book is cut and paste from his old columns, but I do know Howie uses his show to get material for his new columns, from listeners. Someone will say something pithy and Howie will (or maybe not) say, "Hey, I like that--mind if I use that in a column?">>But Repubs will go on and on about the Kennedys.....It's laughable.Double standard. Patches got the "do you know who I am treatment". And yes it happens in both parties.RNC talking points? They must use the DNC talking points on Air America, I guess. Hey, Bobby Kennedy Jrsays the election was stolen! Trying to think of one example of GOP claiming an election was stolen;voting machines rigged. Nope. Both parties stink, but I think the Dems are just funnier. Can you picture the GOP with anyone possibly having the yuks factor of Ted "Chivas" Kennedy, Tom "Fries My Nose" Menino, Tom "Get Out of Here, Gabrieli, I'mPutting A Deadbeat On The Ticket" Reilly, John "No, Those Purple Hearts Were Real" Kerry,Bill & Hillary, Al "I Didn't Win My Home State" Gore, Michael "Two Dinners" Moore,Al "Limo for the Lame-o" Franken, Dan "The Story Is True" Rather... Sure, the Repubs do come up with some doozies too but when it comes to comedy, it's the donkeys all the way!! And just remember, they have a bright future, too, with the guy Ted calls "Osama Bin Laden--er, Osama Obama. Obama..."

Weld's world! Weld's world! Party time! Excellent! Looks like Bill W is dropping out of the NY gov race--maybe Howie will talk about that today. Well, at least Weld made the car registrations free for awhile...he also talked of "amber colored liquids", dove fully clothed into the Charles, and almost beat Kerry in the '96 Senate race(getting a surprising total of votes for the GOP in Mass.)
