PREDICTION FOR 2013

One of my predictions for 2013 is whether WFBG (Big 1290) will start streaming live online in the new year. Even if it's just the local weekday morning shows as well as the other local programming during the week, it would be a start.
 
Same with any forever station for that matter, although they're so far behind when it comes to online streaming, one can only hope.
 
Spoke with Dave Davies, the GM of Forever Broadcasting (company that owns WFBG) yesterday morning and he said possibly sometime in the next few months (stated they needed a way to monetize the stream).

There are probably a number of variables on whether the can (or can afford to) stream syndicated talk shows. Even if they are unable to, they can always stream their local shows and not stream the syndicated ones by not having the "Listen Live" link displayed during the times the syndicated shows are on the air.
