Emmis could really take advantage of a supreme opportunity here!

Take advantage by getting some good, out-of-work air talent, pay em significantly less and then sell the crap out of "Great FM Talk is Back in L.A." !!
 
ZERO chance of that happening! If I'm wrong I'll eat crow. Emmis won't take on the salaries of talk on-air talent. It's about more AD revenue and not adding high priced on-air talent. Also how would Emmis sell a combo of FM Talk and Power 106? Not a good match.

Unless I'm missing something as radio and the economy in general are concerned, I think "high-priced" talent isn't in the proverbial "drivers-seat" anymore.

Emmis could probably pick up the KLSX talent for pennies-on-the-dollar. And if not, there's a ton of great, non-working talent out there, that would love a shot at L.A. radio!
