98.1 KIFM will change format and Jeff & Jer will do mornings. Smooth Jazz is going away everywhere. Just my prediction.

San Diego's Contemporary formats are saturated right now. There's already Two Top 40's (or 3 depending on who posts), Two Hot AC's, one AC, and one Adult Hits (all of which vie for similar demographics). Maybe KiFM could tweak and compete head to head with Kyxy, in which case I could see Jeff & Jer. Take J&J out of the equation, and I don't see it. I wonder if they could take KiFM in a Classic Rock direction and put DS&C in mornings, in which case they'd run the risk of clashing with sister 94/9.
I dion't see it. The only thing I could see is maybe FM Talk, but that's already been tried in SD. David, what do you think?
