Predictions for 2009

The Ticket will be almost totally ESPN...very few, if any local shows. :'(

KONO will ease back into the top with fresh music. :-X

The Mix, Magic & Power will stay unimpressive. :-[

KQ will shift their music. 8)

Metro traffic will face some very tough decisions.

KISS will continue to dominate.

In reality, it's the Beat that dominates... if you refer to who is almost all the time #1.

Minor nitpick... Ticket is a FSR affiliate rather than ESPN, but I get your point.

People actually like Ticket BECAUSE it is local which cant be said about ESPN.
KONO wont ease "back on top" and they wont have "fresh music"
How can Mix be unimpressive? With the only Top 40 in town, I still think they are doing very well for themselves.
Magic has always been unimpressive
Power is "pretty much" the same as the Beat.
KISS has always been a good station for years, but things change and you never know what the future holds
I predict the Beat going thru major changes in 2009 personell and staff wise
KTFM is just... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Y100 and KJ sound very similar to me

I don't see the Ticket changing much, but 1250 might have some troubles ahead
KTFM is a station that will not succeed.
WOAI will have a strong fall book leading into next year.
Same for KQ101.9. Might buy them some time.
KJ97 & Y100 will keep going back and forth
Jack has no overhead, so does it even matter that it will never be a serious station?
The Mix has no overhead " " " " never be a serious station?
The Beat will continue to beat on Power.
KZEP will come on strong at KONO's expense.
KISS will continue to rule with the 18-49's.
The one thing that I hope does not happen is for more talented jocks to get let go. Lots of good, talented, respected people dealing with lousy times right now.
