DFW radio... Lets hear them...

Mine is Radio One will finally cave in and do SOMETHING with 94.5.

My guess would be that Mega will flip first. CBS may keep the Fan a while longer.

Flip Mega to what? AMP?

Here's another one: K104's morning show will fail and will either be tweaked or replaced.

Flip KEGL to talk, since Russ Martin is on here.

Russ reached his prime. He will be done and The Eagle will go in a different direction.

I agree with you there, why in the hell did KEGL hire him in the first place? First he said he'll never do mornings again. Just goes to show you what kind of liars we have in radio.

Maybe finally The Ticket can get they're signal worked out. I know that they put in for a signal increase (Maybe March 2010) and it's in the FCC's hands, but hopefully that'll get cleared up and going.

CBS will flip MEGA to AMP Radio to compete directly with KISS forcing i93 to flip to The Ticket FM and 570 will become The Ticket's AM outlet - KLIP will move to 1310 and 104.1 will go dark... Chris Krok will return to rural Atlanta... kxt will continue to add more mainstream artists... KRLD FM will simulcast KRLD AM to compete with WBAP thus blowing up The Fan for good... CBS will drop JACK in favor of AAA...

Greggo will star in celebrity rehab after the next implosion, Russ and Richie will come out of closet and do a alternative lifestyle show with Jagger on 1190, Jerry Jones will do afternoon drive 105.3 (after buying the station from CBS), Kidd Kraddick will run for Mayor of Dallas...and win, JD Ryan will spin records on KSCS or The Wolf, Cumulus will merge with Citadel and rebroadcast WBAP on every station AM/FM in their DFW cluster. KVIL will play christmas music year around to 'trick the book' for out of town nationals, Galloway will abruptly retire in mid sentence, tell everyone to kiss his behind, and run off with a younger woman. Pugs will change his name to Man-Horse in effort to steal attention from Man-Cow, and David Henry will open a strip club. Richard Hunter will dye his hair blonde. Atom Bomb will go Urban Cowboy.

Other than that, business as usual.

Sounds like KSCS is in the process of doing something. "New Country"????

I predict that Radio One will flip 94.5 to urban gospel and become Praise 94.5 all syndicated during the week and local on weekends.

right and then that means radio-one has to move 97.9 to urban ac to sell with praise

a hip-hop and a gospel station are not a good package to sell with one another

KGVL used to have an FM -- KIKT(FM) at 93.5 was co-owned with KGVL for many years.
They Still are, I was just talking about the Oldies Format on KGVL Being available on FM.
Coincidentally my prediction was right and KGVL is also on 105.9 now.
