I agree, if anything happens it'll happen otherwise don't make predictions. All I know is that KTCY will become Air 1 sometime next month or so.

Been there here in OKC. Went to sleep one night to moonlight serenade and woke up to music to get tatooed by. Ouch!

KDGE loses a ton of listeners!

Seems that the station has been trashed.

The got rid of:
Old school Edge (sunday morning show)
three o'clock threesome
four o'clock flashback
Josh

added a dumb new person named Daniel that is the epitome of Billy the Kidd over at Kiss who has had people call into the station and curse over the phone talking about how bad their boyfriend is.

I am wondering who the new music director is because they have basically put KDGE on a loop with the same 20 songs over and over again and the Edge stopped playing the new stuff from metric, the joy formidable etc.

I am about sick of hearing:
"you are a tourist" by Death Cab For cutie
"Kids" by MGMT
"thrift shop" by Mclewmore

The station has been put into crash mode and I have a feeling the new music director won't last 6 months.

recent developments at KDGE aren't exactly "new" choices that signify failure. Also, please stop thinking that because a radio station doesn't play to your taste that they are screwed...not very mature or knowledgeable.
