Predictions for WV radio in 2013

Format changes?
Any more personnel changes?
Stations sold this year?
More people will actually participate on this site?

Share your prognostications so we may all enjoy!

Someone, somewhere, within the area bounded by the Monongahela, Ohio, Kanawha and New Rivers,
will, at some point in time, turn on a radio.

I could be a real cynic, Freddy, and say that someone will actually find something, but WWVA is coming in quite decently much of the time up here, and WVAQ-FM is scannable on a car radio in the McKeesport area.

Doubt that. Didn't bite the first time, they'll be offered even less the next time. Unless someone makes a mega offer for 30 or so small markets, like Dean Goodman.

If you take into consideration CC's large debt amounts coming due in the next 3 or 4 years, they will have to significantly increase earnings*, sell a bunch of stations or "restructure debt". The bond holders might end up large share holders. This could (and should) be done with out bankruptcy it will be interesting.

* The economy seems to be improving and they might just pull this off

This not a negative about the Parkersburg cluster, It has value, sometimes hard decisions have to be made.
