I'm going to wait and see what the rest of you think before offering my own opinions. Granted that many new series have just debuted and it's not really a fair test to determine how they will do at least until after a few more shows have aired. But I am curious how many of you can correctly predict which shows will be gone even before Christmas.

Predictions on what new network shows will be the first to be cancelled.

I'd say Mob Doctor will be the first cancelled. NBC should cancel Animal Practice and Guys With Kids soon after, and abandon their Friday Night Comedy idea, returning Whitney to Wednesday and pairing it up with Community's (I assume) last season.
They managed to fix Monday, but the rest of the week looks bleak for NBC in general. And with The Office and 30 Rock leaving after this year, Thursdays look to be officially dead. A far cry from their top spot in the 90's, I think NBC really needs to clean house and bring in some people who know how to program. The fact that an American Idol ripoff show is the best thing they have ratings wise should speak volumes (no pun intended).

NBC needs any stability they can find. I do think that Whitney and Community have a snowball's chance in Phoenix of surviving the season on Fridays, though. I'm guessing they will be shuffled off to Wednesday to die a slow death. NBC has actually made some in-roads, though, with using the Voice and the NFL as springboards for other shows.

Another show that we might want to keep a eye on is "Last Resort," which tied for ninth in its Thursday Night (September 28, 2012) debut. I give credit to ABC for getting the word out on the military drama, but this 8PM time slot has been a problem since "Ugly Betty" vacated it in 2009 and ABC needs a miracle to pull this one off.
Since we're on the topic of bashing NBC, I'd really like to know why they have a family drama (Parenthood) airing at 10pm. I know its not a new show, but what families are going to watch a show together at 10pm??
I really hope Chicago Fire works out for them. I'm really looking forward to that show. I'm tired of all the police/lawyer dramas out there.

I think Guys with Kids -- executive produced by Jimmy Fallon -- will have potential; besides, it stars Jamie-Lynn Sigler in her first regular series since The Sopranos. That's the upside.
The downside? Being at 8:30 on Wednesdays, they're opposite the second halves of Survivor and The X Factor (though things will get real interesting for the latter come the live shows)!

The story line reminds me of the Fugitive....but with a lot of water.
The debut had over 9 million viewers; however I've seen shows (I felt) were better but ended up cancelled after the first year.

The pilot episode of "Last Resort" was so fantasy-like in its departure from reality it is difficult to tell whether it will resonate with an audience or not. If the audience buys the premise and the illogical story line it might continue to exist based on the presence of some attractive actors. They could always introduce a backdrop of babes in bikinis to keep the beer and chips crowd interested. Anyone looking for a semi-realistic drama is sure to be disappointed though.
666 Park Avenue needs to be cancelled. Just after 2 dhow, I had to pull the plug on it because of the show's title; The title has something to do with satanism & devil worshiping. It's pretty much disturbing to watch, especially on Sunday, where people go to church-just to hear the word of God. Sundays should be a very well relaxed day.
Yeah, I'd prefer not to watch, but I do like Vanessa Williams. Unfortunately, it's her husband who is manipulative and evil this time, not her. And I don't like him, except when he's being ncie, which isn't often.Troy Goodwin said:

I also like that woman who the artist husband is looking at, but mainly for the reason he does. his wife is pretty and I thought it was a shame she got hurt. The building's history looks interesting. And it is a beautiful building.
But all this evil stuff may be too much for me and I can only hope for a quick cancellation.

Hoping it gets cancelled because the title "might be indicative of devil worship" or "it's too evil for me" seems like immature reasoning.
I don't watch more than half a dozen scripted shows on TV in any one season but that doesn't mean I hope they get cancelled for those that like them. I think that shows like Jerry Springer or Maury are much worse than any form of idiotic soap opera which is clearly fictitious.

It looks like you might want to add CBS' "Partners" and "Made In Jersey" to that list. Both shows are in trouble based on their ratings alone.

Am I the only one who feels like the networks are putting more and more gay-oriented shows on? I am not gay but don't have anything against them as a group but I also get tired of seeing the constant references to gays and their stereotypes. Even 'Survivor', which is not a scripted show, seems to publicize a gay participant in each season.
