Predictions: WPLJ, Will Todd be back in new year?

eh, I guess it's confirmed.. he mentioned on monday that he'll be there a few more years at least. i'm honestly shocked plj hasn't gutted the station.
they got rid of that zach and gang thing in the overnight. they booted john foxx over to nash. why not totally clean house and save some money?
 
Maybe I'm missing something, but saving money doesn't seem to be their MO right now. They seem to be hiring a lot of people everywhere. Don't know where the money's coming from, but it's just what I'm seeing.
 
which is weird..isn't that why they ousted the dickeys in the first place to try and gain some form of monetary control over the situation and get back on track?

during their 'anniversary' show yesterday, they apparently got an email from a cumulus head stating they'll be around for years to come unfortunately.

Who knows? But cost cutting, especially in NYC, doesn't appear to be what they're looking to do. I haven't seen any mention of widespread layoffs or salary cuts, as predicted.
