Predictions?

Anyone care to speculate on this fall's ratings in Jacksonville, Panama City and Pensacola?

Jacksonville

For Jacksonville hear is what I predict:

1. WOKV
2. WJBT
3. WEJZ
4. WSOL
5. WQIK
6. WAPE
7. WJGL
8. WFKS
9. WFYV
10. WPLA (no change yet since the signal swap did not happen until December)
11. WBGB
12. WMXQ
13. WGNE
14. WZAZ
15. WKQL
16. WROO
17. WJSJ/WSJF
18. WFXJ
19. WCGL
20. WHJX
21. WJGR
22. WZNZ
23. WSOS
24. WRUF
25. WJHM

Notice that the last two are out of market stations. One WRUF places in this list is because of Lex & Terry and if you are southwest of town you will pick up. This will slack off after Feb. 1 when Lex & Terry return to WPLA. Second WJHM places is because the signal can picked up very well in St. Augustine and points south in the surveyed area which makes it somehow get a percentage here.

Now Renda will be a gainer here for this survey due to the fact of its country station which has been improving in the ratings since the station come on the air here in Jacksonville.

Clear Channel will be a gainer and a looser. One is the winner with WJBT and WPLA and WFKS. The big loss will come with WROO and a little bit with WQIK.

Cox will still see some loss with Lex & Terry on WFYV. WJGL will go down a bit WAPE will be up and WMXQ should hold steady at least. WOKV will go back to number one again.

TAMA will see that WHJX needs some improvments to even make a splash at WSOL. WJSJ/WSJF will see a bit loss but will hold has the best of their stations.

Salem will see some improvement with WBGB I think and soon WZNZ will get itself back on the board running and WZAZ will see itself hold out, but WJGR need to work on itself to improve in numbers and to be a threat to WOKV.

That is my scoop.

I predict that mburg will learn the proper use of the word "hear"

Or perhaps the proper spelling of the word "here"

Expect no "working on" at WJGR

WJGR will not work on itself. Salem has its own agenda and what you get is what you get. Salem does not care what its numbers are, or what WOKV's numbers are,
and does not care to make any effort to get any significant portion of WOKV's numbers, especially if it means deviating from its shining path of Prager, Medved, Bennett and company.

Hear, hear! I second (or third) that.

I don't know if anyone has done anything in the past period that will make them move up or down. As for 2006, obviously Planet will be up. Aside from that, you got me. The only thing for sure is that nothing is for sure.

Re: Jacksonville

I predict the Andy Johnson Show Down To Business [with...] will propel 1530 WYMM to 19th in it's market. They are literally burning a hole with thier southerly pointed 50kw signal into Cuba and the Domenican Republic (hearing this (hereing? heering? lol), noting this personally.

Ducking,

Ok now that we have the spelling of "hear" down how about we talk about Gainesville. Anyone have the vague breakdown of today's ratings.
