Pres. "dubya" to call Chapman

Over the weekend three different sources told me that Bush is"supposedly" going to call Ron this week live on the air to congratulate him and wish him well. They seem to be centering on tuesday around 8:30a approx. I would not be surprised if Dubya calls anytine this week since he has been friends with Ron for a long time. Others who are expected to call or "drop by"Laura Miller, Sen. Hutchinson,Rick Perry( declaring a statewide Ron Chapman Day , Miller will do likewise for the City),some old on air staff folks like Judy Jordan, Suzie Humphries will make a return visit,Wes Wise, Bill Mercer,etc. Thus the Victory lap has started.

Looks like Tuesday will be the day....
It was mentioned this a.m. that Chapman must be in the studio at 830am tuesday... he was planning to be out at DFW for a final ride on the old shuttle ride between terminals....

Instead, he was kidnapped and taken to Love Field for the unveiling of a Southwest Jet with his name on it....

and no call on Wednesday morning that i heard... tuned out at 9.

Wright or wrong--does this mean Ron can now fly
only to states immediately adjacent to Texas,
plus AL, KS and MS?

If he changes his name to Ron ChAApman, will he
also be presented a set of MD-80 first class seats
a la Tom Joyner?
