Having lived in the area for many years, I can assure you any information
provided by the "daily courier" is suspect. In Prescott: Rf 4 Kool/KSAZ
Rf 6 KPNX Rf 9 KPHO and Rf 11 KTVK. Later came KNXV on Rf 47, Rf 14
KUTP and KAET on Rf 55

On Mingus: Prescott Valley/Cottonwood:
KUTP on Rf 16, KASW on Rf 34, KOOL/KSAZ on Rf 36
KTVK on Rf 38, KPHO on Rf 40, KAET on Rf 42 and KNXV
on Rf 44.
KUSK/KAZT signed on in 1982 on Rf 7
KNAZ was on Rf 2 until moving to Rf 22 digital.

In the analog days, KNAZ was very good in Prescott/Prescott Valley except when
tropo events occurred. When KNAZ moved to Rf 22, the signal was not receivable
in Prescott Valley, so the KPNX translator in Prescott was moved to Mingus Mtn
to serve Prescott Valley on (KNAZ) Rf 6. When Gannett bought KNAZ, they became a
full time satellite of KPNX.
