PRESETS OPTIMOD 8400

Hello,

We are running an Optimod 8400 processor. It sounds good but I think we can get more out of it. I have searched all over but I'm still looking for some good ideas. Does anyone have some good presets for the 8400? I would be happy to share my presets as well.

Have you contacted Orban to see if they can custom a preset for you? I know you've been working with that thing for months. What specifically are you unhappy with about the sound? ie: does it need to be more Open? or more Exciting? etc etc...

Just trying to find out if there's anything better out there than what I'm on right now. Still looking for a good balance between lows, presence and highs.
 
With any audio processor, you're going to find that you're always tweaking :)

Seriously, though, the presets that come standard with the processor are only starting points. Find a present that is close to what you want, and adjust from there. It's really hard to get the sound you want without hearing your air signal as STL, exciter, and transmitter can all make differences in your audio quality.

Again, it's going to come down to having a lot of patience and spending time adjusting the settings gradually while spending critical time listening to the nuances of your station,
