Presonus tube pre's...thoughts?

In general, I don't care much for Presonus. It's not that they make bad products, it's just that there's always something I like better in that price range. The ADL 600, for instance is about $2000...That's a grand per channel. For that price, there are a lot of pres that really outshine it. SSL, John Hardy, API, Great River, Focusrite and Vintech, to name a few. Granted, I just listed a bunch of solid state products and you're looking at a tube, but UA and Manley both make tube pres in that range that I appreciate more than the ADL 600.

Thanks Emmett! Always good intel. I'm just the curious sort. Happy with my Avalon M5 and ISA220. If I do upgrade it'll be to the Avalon 737.
 
And indeed, I don't think you can ever go wrong with the 737 (now available in black! Very sexy!)
