Prestigiacomo, Conley, and Olson

Tesh!

I guess y'all have noticed that John Tesh is now going to be 10a-3p on the Mighty Kim? That means that Cody Robbins is gone? That would be a shame.

Ryan Seacrest now Afternoons.

Cody is apparently at Kix now. If she's the same Cody Robbins who was at KZEP and KCJZ in San Antonio about 15 years ago, I agree she's damn good. She was really good at both of those stations, despite incredibly different formats!

Well I can see that they really don't care about their ratings or radio when you have a line-up that goes from John Tesh to Ryan Seacrest. I guess you get what you pay for. That is why you can buy their shares at .01.

I would never listen to that lineup.

Prestigiacomo, Conley and Olson all doing mornings. Could be interesting? I think you meant, could be coma-inducing. As long as Memphis mornings are stuck in the 80's, let's bring back Dees, McKeever, Aunt Eloise, or any other washed up jock we can find.

HOW DARE anyone compare Rick Dees to Prestigiacamo, Conley, Or Olsen? I mean, seriously...what are you smokin'? ;D

Hmm... Rick Dees = 18.6; WKIM + WKQK + WMC-FM = 5.5.
In fairness, no level playing field could be established to compare one figure to the other. Like so many things, you just had to be there to appreciate it.

Ha! Quit pretending anyone would be confused about how I meant that! You're just kidding me, too, right?
But look at Grayson's post. That'll tell ya what I meant.

No offense to myself or anyone on this board who might have hit a post in their day...but there are very few that were better or more popular than Dees was in his day. These names are not amongst those that were.

I'm certainly not questioning Dees' talent. His tremendous success speaks for itself.
Hasn't it been 30 years since he left Memphis?
Personally I thought Ron Jordan was every bit as talented. Unfortunately he was his own worst enemy.

Indeed. If Dees was the radio ELVIS, Jordan was the radio Jerry Lee Lewis.

Agreed on Ron Jordan. And, yes, it's been 30 years (at least) since Dees left Memphis.

I thought so, but for some reason it doesn't seem that long.
Maybe because of the Weekly Top 40 being carried for so long.
