Previously played songs - List on website

Most radio websites now have a list of all of the songs that have played in the last hour or few hours. How is this done?

A lot of them use Neilsen bds...I know because it says. None of the other ones I've seen mention who is supplying the service.

We're overhauling our website and want to incorporate this feature. Any idea on costs, or which companies to contact?

Also, I assume somehow our automation has to interact with the website. We're using Scott if that matters.

Well, in a simple way what you see on the website is the "what's on air" and "what was played b4" wich is data contained in the database of the automation software. That information is read from the items (songs or whatever) "tag", then transposed to the side. You can filter what should be shown on the website (overriding information about transmited commercials, for example) replacing that info with a generic name like "commercials". Regarding the incorporation of the feature, a very long time ago I was beta-testing and automation software. I've created a website (just for home use) to test the feature. It worke. Don't ask me how because I don't remember. The software was the DRS2006...
