Complete makeover? As of now, it's basically been some redesigned set pieces with a revised color scheme (and the Barker era certainly changed the color scheme from time to time). Still four players bidding on something, then playing one of the nearly the same set of games from the Barker era. Still a big wheel, still a showcase. They haven't removed Barker's name from the studio (not Price's call, mind you, it's not their studio), and to date have still mentioned it as such on air. They had Barker himself back to hawk his book. Not exactly signs of erasing "everything" associated with Barker. Announcers come and go. It happens. The fact that he worked with Bob at one point hardly seems to be the reason, as clearly outlined in his statement.
