Pride radio

I'm starting to like Pride radio, even though I am not "gay" they play some good stuff, I think they sound a lot better than KTFM. I dont think it is local, but still sounds good.

Or maybe "both ways" ;D

Pride Radio is computer driven. It sounds good on-line, but I just don't like how they take a lot of good music and make them into techno or dance. The music selection is good, It's just the whole idea of "good music + good variety= Gay Radio" that get's me. It's a little odd listening to that station when I'm not.......well you know, not a........... Well, I don't swing that way!

Wonder how many people have HD Radios in the San antonio/Austin Market? be interesting to see the numbers?

Why hear the same old tired song on another frequecy? I like the fact Pride puts on a remix version of a popular song.

Pride def. sounds better than KTFM. However, KTFM is actually sounding much better than it did a couple of weeks ago. The music selection sounds better and not many repeats throughtout the day.

Pride throws down some great dance tunes. Good programming. The sound quality is just a step above 8-track though.

Yep it does... it sounds more or less like a 16bit stereo mp3 file, but still has a great playlist.

I havnt been listening to KTFM ever since they let off the Hotness and Rick.

Well I do swing "that way", and listen to Pride out of Dallas online and love it. Great music and programming.

I am getting the HD for my car this weekend, then just hoping that maybe someone in Austin will carry the Pride format, or even the aptly named "Fabulous FM" from Hartford.

It's pretty much a dance station. Lots of current Top 40 that they speed up. It sounds kinda like Mega 93.3 did when they were dance.

I'm guessing Austin will never get that HD channel. I sent an email to CC Austin, which remains unanswered.

It sure would make the traffic around here more bareable.

I wrote them a while back and said the secound top 40 station on the main top 40 staiton is a big waste.
